Poetry (Romeo & Juliet)
Hello guys, here are few verses of poetry that I wrote recently, I have read Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare and it inspired me to write this.
I hope you like it <3
I hope you like it <3
I relieve myself once and for all,
From the torment of this life
One cut releases my soul free,
One leap ends this sorrow.
My ship hit by the waves and not carried,
The wind blows in all directions but the one I desire,
The monsters of the deep dark sea have schemed
To tear my flesh and share,
Have they not noticed my life is a mess already?
O' tell them the day has come,
My glory days are gone, they no longer need to envy.
I do it not to please them, but to release my soul once and for all from the crippling sorrow.
May luck be with those who remain,
Luck is but a sibling of hope,
Both are lies told by people whose ships are made of fir.
An old boat kept me joyful for years and kept them wondering what's the secret,
Until nature decided it must sink,
And so the monsters sharpened their canines and eagerly waited for my corpse to float in sea.
My soul has reached the sky,
No agony, no pain to be felt.
